Final 3D print

Image
The final conclusion of our 3d print, is spotty in some places but its overall form is pretty much unchanged, we did have to tweak its base concept since some of the shapes he had as ripples would cause too many problems during the print so we had to make some compromises of the concept design to get this final

water shot glass

Image
a simple shot glass with a water motif throughout the cups design. the base of the cup is meant to resemble water ripples, and the spiraling top is meant to resemble a seashell cone something reminiscent of the sea This idea generally looks good but otherwise is inconceivable without the use of supports the ripple is a great looking effect however we found difficulty with how the print would word with the curvature of the model. we're working on other ideas as to how we would achieve the ripple, for now this is all we have since our only option might be to research this on our separate time.

hollow 3d prompts

the two upfront were inspired by old fancy chalices, and the one in the back is supposed to be inspired by a slinky. I don't know how I would turn it into said slinky, but I think it would be a cool thing to tackle when designing, back to the chalices. I designed the pieces to be printed upside down and used as the top for the chalice pieces, leaving room for collaboration as to what the base of the chalice could be. moving onto the other 3 designs, we have them all designed with the idea of water being a motif in each of there designs. Unlike the previous 3, these ones were created to be the base of the collaborations and were meant to support the other person's piece as the base. The purple render is supposed to be a tentacle spiral, but I just couldn't figure it out.

coaster critters

Image
Coaster Critters I am planning on using a maple or oak base for my coaster and for the paint covering the insect I will be using a thermochromic paint to give it that squished aftereffect on the bug I am still not quite finished for the coasters as I would like to add a spider variant, a wasp/bee variant, and lastly a centipede variant. However, these are all the designs I have come up with.

Coaster creations :0

Coaster designs #1 coaster caterpillar: the coaster caterpillar is an ever-growing caterpillar line it up with other segments to make the Caterpillar longer Coaster design #2 insect catalog: a variety of bugs designed on the coaster. The unique thing about this is that if the cup leaves a stain on the coaster, the bug will look smushed. The design execution could be a real bug drowned in clear epoxy Coaster design #3 Variety drinks: coasters meant for organization, designed with the idea of organizing certain drinks for certain coasters. The other idea with these coasters was that they released the scent of the drink designed on the plaster Coaster design #4 mythical myriad: this coaster was designed with the idea that it would be pretty interactive, allowing the individual to twist and turn the dragon's shape into any elaborate design, as well as having the ability to change colors depending on the warmth of the beverage on the coaster through the use of thermochromic materials (i...

The Tower Castle

Image
This castle was inspired by the Eye of Sauron. Not really your traditional castle with a medieval look, however, most castles are fortresses, so I guess this counts to a certain degree.
